I grew up in the city (Indianapolis, Indiana) and had a dreamboat childhood. I was a wild girl with a popsicle grin and tangles in my hair. I never quite grew out of that low-maintenance persona...
There I am on the left. The ginger. And there on the right is my childhood bestie Amanda.
Before long, my family embarked on an "adventure" as mom called it, to our new home in Jacksonville, Alabama, I was 11 years old and went on this journey kicking and screaming. Little did I know then that this move was a beautiful, important piece in the puzzle of my life.
To make a long story short, I grew into a young adult in the tiny town of Jacksonville. Before long, I fell in love with the country roads, shady trees, and southern hospitality that embodies Jacksonville, and I've been a small town girl ever since.
I graduated from Jacksonville High and have been rocking the college life ever since. I chose to stay in the small town and continue my education at Jacksonville State University, only a few minutes away from home. I became involved in the music department there by joining the JSU Marching Southerners, a 450 member marching band.
The Southerners brought me life long friends and a just plain awesome way to spend my first semester of college. We traveled, made music, memories, and jokes....lots of jokes.
As for now, I've completed my second year at JSU and am on course to receiving a nursing degree.

This is my momma,..
She's my best friend and dearest confidant. Above all, I love my family. I will definitely be posting more of my family very soon.
The greatest part about being me is being a sweetheart to my sunshine, Terry. He's been holding me in his arms for about a year now and I can honestly say that this must be it. What does that mean? Well...when it's right, you just know. I am in love with this person, who happens to be my best friend.
Oh, and this is Lucy the Wonder Dog. She's motivated by cheese and hunts shadows and leaves that appear threatening. I am a dog person all the way. Lucy is my OTHER love. :)
That's a bit into the life of me, guys. I'll be posting more about my family and friends very soon, so keep reading! Please subscribe and share me on your social media of choice!
Love always, Hannah
